Privacy Policy
Updated June 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Simple Haven ("the site") handles information when you visit. The site is a static editorial publication and is designed to collect as little data as possible.
Information the site uses
Local storage for cookie preferences
When you choose Accept or Reject on the cookie notice shown on the home page, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the notice does not appear again. This value stays on your device and is not transmitted to the site.
The contact form
The contact form runs entirely in your browser. When you submit it, the form simulates a confirmation locally and clears the fields. No information you enter is sent to or stored on a server by this site.
Information the site does not collect
- No accounts, logins, or profiles.
- No advertising or third-party tracking pixels added by the site.
- No server-side database of visitor data.
Third-party resources
Pages load a web font from Google Fonts and display images hosted on Wikimedia Commons. When your browser requests these files, the relevant providers may receive standard technical request information such as your IP address, as is typical for any externally hosted resource. Their handling of that information is governed by their own policies.
External links
Articles link to external public resources. Those sites operate under their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site. The date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
